Introduction
Getting Involved
- Volunteer at a hospital or physical therapy clinic. In your service to patients, reflect on grace as a process that takes discipline and ongoing help from a community of care givers.
- Think of a big choice that you will need to make in the near future. Form a "committee" of people that know you well, and who you respect as Christian peers. Bring them together to help you discern what you should do. (The Quaker's have a tradition of forming "clearness committees" to do just this - see Parker Palmer's Let Your Life Speak.)
- Invite someone who models graciousness into your home for dinner. Before they leave, encourage them to continue to share their gifts of graciousness with others.
