Truman Show (Rated PG), dir. Peter Wier, 1 hr. 43 mins., Paramount Pictures, 1998, DVD.

Truman Burbank is a normal man, living in a normal town who wants to get out and see the world.  In reality, however, Truman was an unwanted pregnancy and his "father", a reckless TV-Producer whom he never met, made up the Truman Show - a show in which life is live. Everyone around Truman is an actor with a little headphone in their ear while the world voyeuristically follows his every move.   This provocative film can help raise critical questions about the nature of God and society.
