Resources:
It is not easy to live graciously as Christians. Our culture tends to push us toward either confrontation or apathy and many churches do the same. So we ask:
How can we help each other live more gracious and grace-filled lives as Christians?
What ideas, ideals, images, and experiences enlarge the graciousness of our faith?
How can we love God, the world, and others more intelligently and effectively?

Books:
Uncommon Decency: Christian Civility in an Uncivil World (1992) by Richard J. Mouw
Written by a conservative seminary president, this book argues that Christians need to be gracious and respectful of everyone, even with those with whom they strongly disagree.
Making Room: Recovering Hospitality as a Christian Tradition (1999) by Christine D. Pohl
This book provides both a history of Christian hospitality and an argument for why Christians should be hospitable and welcoming today.
The Jesus Creed: Loving God, Loving Others (2004) by Scot McKnight McKnight argues that the dual commandment to love God and others (which he calls the Jesus Creed) defines the core of Jesus' message and the core of Christian faith
